I participated in the Spring 2023 xAPI Cohort and joined a team focused on using ChatGPT.

Our team decided to create a short module (affectionately dubbed "Chat Soufflé") that would nudge learning professionals to experiment with ChatGPT and collect their opinions on generative AI. We would track interactions and survey responses using xAPI. I suggested the tool (Twine), which our developer happily adopted and did wonders with.

I joined the content design work stream, collaboratively ideating, writing, and editing in a storyboard. I created a design doc to align us on the learning objectives and flow, also helping to manage parts of the project.

I also helped us find consensus on what kind of data we needed to collect to present at the final cohort meeting. A learning analytics expert eventually joined us, helping to better define that data and create a fantastic Tableau dashboard.

We ultimately saw almost 100 people complete our module and got lots of positive feedback on the experience. Many said the course got them using ChatGPT for the first time.
