Students applying to Google’s igniteCS program struggled to understand the path to designing a good program and how to apply. I redesigned the Application Info page to better support students and make the process clearer.
As a result, the average score of applications increased by about 10% in the phase following the website relaunch. We also spent less time bolstering applications that were on the threshold of the minimum acceptance score, and could more quickly respond to email queries about the process.
